A diamond’s colour rating refers to the natural tint of yellow that’s present in the stone; the closer to being ‘colourless’, the more rare and valuable the diamond.

Material
Unlike the carat used to measure the weight of diamonds, when applied to precious metals, carat refers instead to the purity, not the weight. 9ct metals offer a purity rating of approximately 37.5%, whilst 18ct metals are approximately 75% pure. Platinum offers a purity level of around 95% and as a result is a much stronger and denser metal, making it more hardwearing and more expensive.
Ring Size
Your ring should feel comfortably snug on your finger to avoid being lost, without being too tight. View our sizing guide.
